We ship 6% spod to China to send us crap batteries that catch fire or are just plain garbage.
We can't compete with them on a production level as same as our wages and mining costs are out of control and vs population and barriers of red tape in whatever form means nothing will change.

ALB offered 3 billion on their 3rd bid and Gina blocked it look at the struggle they are still having to get production to get off the ground that's another 1.5 million tons P/A and can scale to double if it makes it.
Mines with production are shut those in it going backwards on cost vs price look at the numbers from the big boys PLS/MIN.
If and when the LI price comes good the deficit will be filled by those for years to come as their capacity to ramp a mineral that is so abundant is a given.
