The mineral sands junior hopes to ship its first batch of product before the end of the year and is currently in discussions to do so. While MZI plans to become a substantial producer of both leucoxene and zircon, the industry has expressed concerns of oversupply in both minerals.
MZI Resources plans to begin mining next week at its Keysbrook mineral sands project in Western Australia, one month ahead of schedule.
Work on the project has remained on budget and was 92.5% complete at the end of September, while final preparations are under way to begin continuous mining operations.
