July 19 (Reuters) - The following bids, mergers, acquisitions and disposals were reported by 1330 GMT on Tuesday:
** France's government is offering to pay 9.7 billion euros ($9.85 billion) to take full control of EDF EDF.PA , in a buyout deal that gives it a free hand to run Europe's biggest nuclear power operator, as it grapples with a continent-wide energy crisis.
** British exhibitions group Hyve HYVE.L said it is selling its Ukrainian unit to a group led by Anatoly Sushon, the Ukrainian business' managing director, as events in the country continue to be on hold following Russia's invasion.
** Informa INF.L has acquired specialist content and audience development platform Industry Dive for $389 million, the British events organizer said.
** Australian investment manager Pendal Group (PDL) said it was in talks with Perpetual Ltd (PPT) regarding a potential transaction, about three months after rejecting the asset manager's A$2.40 billion takeover offer.
** Warren Buffett's Berkshire Hathaway Inc BRKa.N said on Monday it had bought another 1.94 million shares of Occidental Petroleum Corp OXY.N , putting it nearer to a threshold where it could record some of the oil company's earnings with its own.
** Twitter Inc TWTR.N on Monday accused Elon Musk of trying to "slow walk" the company's lawsuit to hold him to his $44 billion takeover and urged a September trial to ensure deal financing remains in place, according to a court filing.
