5 Day satellite update: Nightshift edition.




Hi all, here is your satellite update. I've been very productive at work so far on nightshift and have been going over the satellite images from today. From what I can see it has rained since the rig moved and I can't find any fresh tracks, or the rig. Here is roughly (or exactly? who knows) what the setup is we've been tracking via satellite.



When we look via sentinel it's a reflective blob in the cleared areas. I'll show the progression below.

I think we are relying almost entirely on the reflective roof of the site van for these images.

I've gone over the entire tenement and I cannot find the rig, it could be they are set up in the denser areas and be masked by trees but I have no idea. All I know is I can't find the rig and one structure/thing has gone from the central camp/utilities area.

So I have no idea what to make of it, it's hard to report on the absence of something with any logical relevance. The rig is either amongst trees or is finished for now and left site. In some ways I'm hoping it's finished for now, that would mean they have collected their samples and sent them for analysis so they can build a data set for moving forward. For me this hypothetical is a positive, if the nickel play isn't looking good I'd imagine we'd see the rig at the gold targets already. If gold is the secondary target, assays are taking 6-8 weeks and we have 6 sets of assays in the pipeline then it makes sense to pause drilling and collate the data since the holes are costing about $75K each (based upon the first phase 4 hole program costing $300K).

I've thought of a hypothetical situation that might have happened based on the behaviour we've seen:

The phase 1 1200m program was contracted and planned with a further 5000m contracted but not yet planned. The first 4 holes were a success so the phase 1 program was extended to both silver dragon and FD4 before the rig left site. If this hypothetical scenario has played out then we might see a visuals announcement soon with a "Here are the initial results we promised, aaanndd we also have this!"

I'll report again in 5 days, if the rig is still on site and has moved and it hasn't rained again we'll be able to track it via the dust etc.
