I still think the chance of the takeover proceeding is 50/50 at best. I am still concerned that FIRB plus some behind the scenes political interference might throw a spanner in the works. CEO says that it will breeze through , but either way it will get more complicated for a month or so because ORG wants to sell in any event, but Brookfield and it’s offsider if they are successful will want to see exactly how Raffa will fit into their strategy. If they decide that Raffa etc does not fit their strategy, they too might want to sell to recoup some immediate value. While all this clusterf****** is going on , market opportunities are lost .
On the positive side , Brookfield et al might get immediately on board with the floating LNG concept and we could be entering the biggest and best year in BRU’s history
