Humm. I didn't mean to rattle any cages, or make Mister Fib roll over in his grave.. I was merely posting an article that I recently read. I guess I won't do that again... I use Fib calculations for my pivot point lines and various other TA stuff, as that is what the competition are using, if you believe the competition is an algo bot. Gaps are merely non-linear price action breaks that occur more often on the SPI than other financial instruments, and also occur around Fib levels pivot points and the like. You can see them in the market depth, and occur when a hitter hits a sitter. Oh, and the 40 gap just filled. Funny that. Beer time for the gap guy.
