Insurance costs money, and you must have noticed that insurance compnies actually make profit.
Tried to understand options quite a few times,never quite got there so I leave to it the alpha, bravo, deltra, (wasn't she a singer ??) brigade. I'll stick to putting monry into real companies that have real assets and generate real profits
