Where is the distribution prowess of this ITF Pharma. Looks like one shitty deal so far.

I dont want to burst anyones bubble or spoil the lollipops and rainbows going around, but where are the good attributes of ITF pharma as our US Distributer? From what I've seen so far they are a little fish with little to offer. If someone finds some good reasons for ITF Pharma being our Distributer apart from the obvious money carrots that may not eventuate I'd be happy to read it.

I have done some research on them and their parent company like @joohnno ... I won't repeat what he has posted, save and except for this:

FDA gave them approval for TIGLUTIK in September 2018.  These guys then had the drug on the market six weeks later.  Says how 'hungry' they are for business / growth and how goos their logistics network must be  "

I also agree with @thrasher re: Bayer ... not so sure they would be the right players for Vivagel given they have a swag of competitive products for similar complaints .. For example;

I think you may end up being surprised just how good this smaller pharma group are and how they get the job done ... I for one am all for this group being awarded the distribution partnership for the USA...... big pharma likely tightened the screws and IMO would not have paid milestones anywhere near this level, let alone "escalating double digit royalties" .... and look how big Ansell was in the condom business and how well they treated us ??   "

Also IMO - I would imagine the FDA approval is closer than we think, and I cannot help but think it correlates with the "timing" of the announcement of this deal today (FDA would be in regular contact with SPL in confidence with updates on progress and could have even divulged a meeting date where they expect the final decision will be determinec) so I anticipate that once approval is obtained [assuming they actually approve it] IT Pharma will attempt to coincide the launch timing of the USA with that of other regions  in 2019.... like @joohnno has informed us - they have done this before within a 6 week time frame so I have every confidence they will release the USA product in line with other launches if FDA approval is received soon.

Maybe wait until we see how they perform before we start being so harsh with the criticism?
