How fast it is for ppl to forget that Linc's core business is UCG/GTL and not the coal sale, so yes this is extremely sensitive. I do not know how long you have been monitoring the UCG sector but if you recall the article in AFR in 2008 with a negative report on UCG as an industry sparked a massive sell-off of all 3 UCG leading companies. It took ages for the reputation and sp to recover. Take CXY for example, they have always been very responsive and alert in issuing statements with regards to matters of similar ilk as today's report.

I am sure a few posters on here would have had first hand experience of that ill-fated 2008 day. I, just like you, am looking at the company's shareholders best interest so I guess we are both on the same side, just with different opinions
