It is still fairly common in the US, obviously not as big as open angle glaucoma but potentially equally or even more lucrative of a market due to the lack of alternative treatments and of course, the much higher severity. Closed angle cases are much more likely to progress to blindness, and it happens much faster so people can't really afford to wait around hoping that drops are working.

Not sure why it is so common in China compared to the rest of the world though, but it would be great to see them quickly achieve approval for closed angle in addition to open angle as that should generate significantly more growth.
