Let’s imagine that the vaccine is to try to take the pressure off the health service. If you are unvaccinated then you have a higher chance of requiring hospital treatment.
If you only have vaccinated coming into the country, then of those entering the country, fewer will require hospital treatment.
If you let one tennis player in who is unvaccinated then anyone else can then use that in a court of law to justify entry into Australia.
Not to mention all the Australians outside the country waiting to get back in who are vaxxed with the wrong one or have similar ideas of an exemption but are not allowed back in.
One rule for all is the way to go, or should the elite gain special treatment?
I personally don’t like Novak but I think the convoluted bull he has had to deal with highlights how moronic the state and federal jurisdiction is in Australia, not to mention the press adding to it all stirring up the public to ensure the politicians end up making fools of themselves.
I don’t think Novak’s parents are helping matters by behaving the way they have, although that is probably partly driven by the press as well.
