Yes seems the claim of old stock is generalising from the unique - one customer review on eBay where second hand sales abound as it is an “auction” platform. The customer reviews referred to do not show purchase date and may reflect a customer purchase of a year ago where that customer has just seen the useby date is almost up and then decided to make a complaint in the Review section.
