If he's giving such praise to a CSG project utilising hundreds of bores across swathes of NSW's most fertile land - I don't see why he'd have any opposition to an offshore rig out of sight in an area with little deep-sea landslide activity (the only real off-shore risk). He mentioned at the end of his channel 7 appearance to "watch this space" this week and next . As far as I'm aware the only gas-related project waiting to be signed on his desk is PEP-11 and the next JA meeting is this Friday. If he was opposed, he would've made it clear long ago IMO.
If it wasn't for a large holder getting impatient last week, there wouldn't be this much doubt among the few hotcopper-posting-holders.
I very optimistically expect a retrace tomorrow to 3.5c at least.
All IMHO, DYOR & GLTAH
