A poster has already made the point for which my analogy would be that China would never shove money into the pocket of (someone who provokes her relentlessly and now threatens to shoot her) to purchase that gun and the ammo. If China has prepared for this moment a substantial domestic IO capacity, this would be the time to unleash it. And if so, they would have prepared for at least 2 years if not more. I said this months ago for goodness sakes. It's all very simple to predict what's next: cause and effect.
