You've got to be kidding.

9/11 was created/caused by Bush the old guy. Dubya's policies have directly contributed to the growth of extremism across the globe, with attacks in Bali, London, Spain, India, and many others.

For the first time in a great many years, there is some hope that the dumb yanks are going to abandon their policy of shoot first, ask questions later.

For the first time in a great many years, the US president will actually understand there is a whole world out there, outside their borders, not just a shooting range. It's populated by real people, not targets.

I will still refuse to visit that axis of evil that runs from Washington to New York to Los Angeles, until he delivers on these promises, but at least I'm hopeful now that we will have significant change.
