I’m wanting to transfer some shares to my wife as she isn’t working currently and will put franking credits to better use. What is an acceptable sale price to record on the transfer form? I’ve read in a few places that it can be any price from the last 3 months. Other sources say it should be from that day. If this is correct then how long do you have to submit the form? I obviously want to record the lowest price possible without creating smoke. Much appreciated.
