What is the normal oil price your referring to from about 2008 until 2014 it was over 100 a barrel then came the supply oil glut and its never even came close to those levels since . This time the oil glut is way bigger than the one we had before so it will take a long time to recover , there was simply way to much oil supply than demand even before the coronavirus that's why opec have continually had to keep cutting supply.
Tui has said alot over the years but i struggle to see where he's got it right when concerning senex energy or the oil price, here's just a few of his opinions, the shale industry will collapse in 2015 its gonna get messy, just wait till 2018 for sxy to transform into a gas company it will be worth the 3 year wait he kept saying from 2015 , then through out the last oil glut he said how oil will rebound strongly because there's been no money spent on oil exploration or infrastructure, then for the last couple of years it's been senex is a growth story.
All of the above may happen one day so can anything it's his timing what's so off the mark
