The "Africa" effect or " old Russian empire " effect today I think , dismal reaction to great news. Lots of people will give stocks like PRU a wide berth even if the future appears bright. What is happening in Tanzania at present will always highlight the discount stocks like PRU will suffer from , as long as holders - and new buyers understand the risks ... +1c is a pretty blatant example of this in effect IMHO.
