The General Directorate of Sustainability sends the Scope Document to Extremadura New Energies, reinforcing the processing of the projectExtremadura New Energies positively appreciates the response of the regional Administration to the initial document presented by the company in October of last year, since they confirm the viability of the project. After an initial evaluation of the integrated industrial lithium processing project of ENE in Cáceres, the technicians of the General Directorate of Sustainability have transferred their comments and recommendations in their Scope Document, which in turn compile those of the other administrations and entities consulted.From this moment on, the company begins work to incorporate these comments and recommendations into the final project, so that they are already included in the application for the Concession Pass. The comments and recommendations made by the technicians confirm the viability of the ENE industrial project, since they involve small modifications of the initial project that can be integrated without major problems.The technical document prepared by the Administration clarifies, among other things, what the conditions of the preferential location of the lithium processing plant and the access mouth to underground exploitation should be, conditions that reinforce the proposal to locate the plant near the EX-206 road.On the other hand, once the final documentation is presented, there will be an answer to other questions raised by the technicians in their document, which were not included in that initial document but will be part of the project.This new step reinforces the administrative processing designed by ENE's legal services in the last quarter of last year, which in this way continues to advance within the planned deadlines.Extremadura New Energies appreciates the exhaustive work done by the Administration's technicians, which will undoubtedly serve to further improve the project and so that it continues to be developed with the maximum guarantees of environmental sustainability.
