Infinity Lithium's estimated producing cost for lithium carbonate equivalent (LCE) is US$12,998/t. This is based on a Scoping Study (on a 100% ownership basis) released in October 2021. The study estimates that the San José Lithium Project will require pre-production capital of US$459 million (excluding contingencies) and US$532.2 million (including a weighted average 16% contingency). The study also estimates that the project will have a capital intensity of US$27.3k/t and will produce 17,500 tpa of LCE over a 22-year mine life.

DLE is a new technology for extracting lithium from brine, and it is considered to be more environmentally friendly than traditional methods, such as brine pumping.
