Very interesting interview indeed. I always thought the Spanish had a very hypocritcal stance on mining... enriching their own country by plundering the Americas... but extracting minerals from Spanish soil... never!
Still, as the EIT bloke said, Europeans need to get it into their heads that these useful materials need to come from somewhere, especially if they want to be self-suffcient.
One can only hope interviews like this will start to turn the tide.
