The Navalmoral gigafactory begins its first administrative procedures prior to the works.

The Board submits to public information the request for integrated environmental authorization and the environmental impact study of the lithium-ion battery gigafactory planned in Navalmoral de la Mata . This is how it is published this morning in the Official Gazette of Extremadura. An installation that is expected to generate 3,000 direct jobs, another 12,000 indirect jobs, and that will cost around 2,500 million euros.

The gigafactory promoted by the Envision company thus begins its first administrative procedures prior to the start of the works. The documentation or

allegations related to the project may be sent within 30 days from tomorrow to the Board's Directorate General for Sustainability, upon request for an appointment by email. The next step would be the environmental impact statement.
