I've been keeping a record of trading since 27th February and thought these figures might be of interest to fellow investors:
Since 27th Feb:
VWAP of all shares traded: 8.39c
Volume traded: 3.8 million
Obviously its a very small number of shares (about 2%) and the ongoing VWAP shows that the price at present is very deceiving in terms of what the market value of CSD shares is.
It indicates to me that this is very much a buying period for long term investors, taking advantage of overall market sentiment and other current negatives that are causing people to sell small parcels at well below value.
The only negative factor for CSD since 27th Feb is the lower tin price. Using $23,000/t in my NPV model I get a discounted(8%) NPV of $126m of which 50% is CSD hence $63m/186m shares = 34c per share. This does not include any income from the "sharing" with SPI/SPM of the other metals.
Have their been any positives since 27th Feb. I can think of a few.
