Hey, if she wants to retire then don’t try to stop her!
My view is that she has done the technical work - Vivagel works, Viraleze works, and I am sure the three DEP drugs are a big improvement on existing drugs. Job done. She does not want to get involved in the commercialisation process (which is almost non existent at the moment) so it is time to get a change of leadership.
And that is why I want a new CEO ASAP.

If you think about it, all the DEP drugs could be scooped up by one BP. Possibly. But at the other end of the spectrum there could be three DEP drugs, say an average of four indications per drug and five world regions, giving potentially sixty licenses to sort out - at least. I do not think JF is the right person to do it and her track record so far agrees with me.

@johhno knows management need to lift their game with Vivagel and Viraleze. They have great difficulty dealing with regional authorities to get approvals. Perhaps they are encountering the same stonewalling elsewhere that the TGA is guilty of here. We need someone new to get past these barriers and start selling our products.
