Good post meerkat, but the recent focus on educating children of the risks to them from child and sexual abuse, has gone away from the old days of "stranger danger" and is now focused more upon "protective behaviours" and the like. This seeks to empower kids and make them more aware of when something done to them is wrong and also provides them with the right "tools" in how to deal with it eg who to tell and where to get help.
