Just got back from seeing my Doctor, having a shoulder issue (bursitis) and last cortisone injection didn't help much, anyway asked my Doctor of 15 years what she knew about Pentosan Polysulphate Sodium, and she said 'was only talking about PPS the other day with my father, a vet'...
She told me her father has been using PPS on horses, predominantly, for years, and he asked her if they (doctors for humans!) were prescribing it yet as he wanted some as knows how good it is for animals. I know others have posted about the vet/animal side of PPS, but thought well worth adding this experience to the information here. I told her to tell her father to look up PAR....DYOR.
