The opioid crisis was one of the reasons I jumped in all that many years ago. Valid and as fertile an opportunity it presents for PPS, I am not so sure about regulating authorities having the peoples best interest at heart. If they did they would not have knocked back that first phase 3 trial application knowing this drug is 80 years old without any health risks delaying this for a year or two. So to me the fundamentals did change on this investment. Not on the magic of the drug itself, but on the commercial strength of the company and funding risks that has clearly increased. Find the 51 capital interview with Paul, which in hindsight really sounded more like a cheerleading exercise with 51 seemingly leading Paul on company strategy: Paul was definitely bargaining on 008 bringing us a partnership as a way to fund the road towards NDA. 008 pushed out by a year I think and the 56 day readout was not as statistically significant as I think they hoped for - as I understood it and happy to be corrected on this. So would like a bit more information to flow out from the company - noting of course that I have no idea how much information comes out do these companies as a general rule during these stages.
