Well we clearly know much more now and what we can expect, so your 500,000 deaths scenario is no longer even a remote possibility.
We have the facilities to manage the virus and know what we can expect. we are vastly better prepared now, so why are we locking down 1/3 of our national economic output this time around and offering business a further 4 billion dollars over the next 8 weeks? yes people will die, FACT, but people die all the time. Someone has to pay for this. It’s not coming from thin air. My 3 yr old will be burdened with this debt we continue to rack up. It’s like no one cares, so long as the merry-go-round doesn’t stop. How very self indulgent of us all… . im also pretty sure the reason why smoking was banned from indoors was that exact reason, and why pregnant people should smoke, and why your can’t smoke in vehicles with children……secondary smoke.. where have you been for the last 20years?
