Unfortunately Juxtaposer, the reality is that whilst SPL has always had promising tech and prospects the true reality is that it has been a dog of a stock from an investment point of view. The SP is lower now than it was in 2011. I guess that’s ok if a company is paying dividends which SPL is not, so from an opportunity cost perspective SPL has been a horrible investment.
Whilst you say that $2.50 is not nearly enough to get you ‘interested’, that is largely irrelevant. Many many shareholders would accept that offer tomorrow in a heart beat.
