In our PAA situation "if a takeover happens" it should work out very positive (financially) for all involved here, we should also get to vote for the outcome.
This type of thing may be different in the mining industry.
PAA have now repurposed a non-toxic cancer fighting micronised molecule/drug that use-to-be in the Eli Lily products list (Double tick), Eli Lily currently $150 u.s. per share.
PAA hold the patents of the key compound (MPL) attributed to this Cancer/Covid-19 success. Negotiations would already be taking place, this is how PAA achieve their silent success, we may only hear when a potential deal/offer is on the table.
There is a huuge amount of money/income involved here.
Let's just see if our Sir Dr's running the show can make this all happen, as always things are looking very positive for PAA.
