There has been no change to the opening date of the new Brisbane casino at this stage. We are still being told April 2024.
Interstate members can no longer claim their flights using complimentary casino dollars in Sydney. This demonstrates they are complying with the new rules.
You can still claim flights at Gold Coast and complimentary alcohol is still available.
Gold Coast is definitely the better option. More choices for entertainment. As of 15/12 they are opening up Isoletto pool bar to the public between 4pm to 8pm to provide another outdoor option to customers without having to stay at the accommodation. Live entertainment on the lawn Garden Kitchen and Bar or 19 restaurant used to be the only outdoor choice. These options don't exist at Sydney, it's mostly focused on gambling.
