That's wise - if the Porsche is fully paid of course. Over the decades I noticed that immediately after a crash in the economy, many second hand Porches were immediately for sale at ridiculously low prices. I put this down to the young inexperienced - who buy up and mortgage to the hilt during a boom, only to end in tears when the boom switches to crash. Anyway I was prepared - in mid 2020 I was waiting to pick up a Porsche - but it never happened. Jobkeeper kept everybody going and second hand cars went through the roof! Bah.
