I don't think we should forget who started this so called "trade war". The World was getting ready to sign a global trade agreement back in 2016. We all know what happened then, America decided to elect the Trump who was making promises to make America great again... This is Trumps war, so with any luck we can look forward to the return of Sanity in Nov 2020.
China thrives on trade, the last thing they want is a war, but it would be foolish to think they will tolerate being made a scapegoat for undelivered promises !
