There is a thread on this forum which equates 97,000 MCG spectators not booing to those people accepting "Welcome to Country".

As a normally bought up young lady I was taught to never "boo" anyone. Like most Australians I am too polite to show my distain for the insult that is "Welcome to Country".

Those on the Left are likely to participate in protests, glue themself to roads, harass opponents meetings, spit and shout. They are not typical.

I am Australian, I don't need to be welcomed to my own country but I don't boo, shout or sit.

We are quiet, proud, polite Australians.
