The ABC did nothing wrong, in fact doing everything possible to keep names discrete.....

Porter outed himself in a state of panic. He then lodged a suit against the ABC and when the evidence was given to Porter's lawyers they apparently advised him he had little if any chance of winning the case - so again in a panic he withdrew the suit.

meanwhile the court had ordered mediation and the ABC kindly offered to pay the mediation costs for both ABC and Porter while Porter was left with his legal costs and, as ordered by the judge, ABC's legal costs.

Porter had bought "very expensive" lawyers and despite his massive salary as a most senior Minister had wanted financial assistance to pay his lawyers (where does his money go?) and obtained a "donation" from secret contributors to his lawyers' bill.

its the secret donors that is the problem now. Nothing at all to do with the ABC.

Who donated to his "blind trust"? that is what needs to be shown as it has an appearance of breaching the parliamentary standards due to not disclosing donors.

this is a massive cover-up to protect Porter. but nothing will save him from the anger in his electorate. M. only cares about the 1 seat majority in the House.
