Majority of Tier One copper mines capex is circa $3bil. Cobre Panama was $6.5bil, Quellaveco was $5.5b, Oyu was $6bil.
The best capex to date is Kamoa of $1.4bil, but that was due to its location to existing infrastructure.
For AW1, if it was minable and became a Tier One, how would it not be $3bil? Remote location, freezing ground, no existing infrastructure, 390m downwards?
@Beno77 - no agenda, just generally wanting to see what people think of AW1 and its current position and I am just trying to raise some questions, but no one seems to answer them.
