It just means there was a technical issue and as the drill hole got deeper it 'bent' off of the straight line, so they did not drill where they wanted deep down; disappointing that A NUMBER of holes missed the target; so they are wasted drill holes (mind you, they could have been lucky and found gold where they were not looking, but alas, they did not find extra, they just missed the spot they were looking)
