I think it hurts more simply because we don't really know the answers to the questions you are asking. The few announcements that we receive tell a very boring story and this company is boring to the extreme.
Who knows if their technology is worthwhile, but one thing is for certain, a large part of the potential customer base just couldn't be bothered.
I think maybe they are just an eternally small fry company, that pretends it is playing in the big leagues.
