We live in country NSW and left Orign Energy about six months ago after accepting an offer with Red Energy where we receieve a 10% discount if paid on time. Since then Orign Energy have been trying to get our business back. This is the latest offer from them:

Discount whether paid on time or not 19%

Pay on Time 2%

If paid by Direct Debit 1%

Move Gas over as well 2%

Total Discount 23%

In addition they will also pay the $100 fee Red Energy will charge to cancel their contract.

This offer has been accepted.

So shop around. There are some good deals out there.
