Probably much to my cost on some holdings I've never used stop losses. But on stocks like A2M, APT, XRO, I think if you're in there for the long haul you just have to hold and ride out the dips and troughs. I'm sure others can day trade these almost but whether or not they do any better not sure. If you sell it's not always easy to get back in...
