Insurance is in place for these types of things and if end users get bad ratings then they won't be able to borrow again. I'll let you do research on it in the many previous discussions on this, or even just go onto the dmcr website and look for it yourself.
People lease out entire houses in the same manner!! These are worth considerably more than cars and are subject to exactly the same issues. That's why airbnb is worthless. Oh wait...
