property going up - wheres the next hot spot??, page-3

I Posted this just over 2 months ago when things started moving in Karratha... and since then prices have jumped about $100k for an average 3 bdrm brick house and still there is little or no stock.

"Karratha and surrounding towns are set for a boom again IMO.

Stock running out quickly and Real Estates cant keep up, Houses are selling fast. This has only really started happening in the past 2 weeks after the Gorgon announcement.

A block was in the paper today 500m2 for 325,000 and it was the only one for sale in a town with a population of 15,000 people. Amazing...

3 Bedroom Townhouses are selling for $530,000 and are rented out for $1200-$1300 per week. Not a bad return.

Plenty of work here and big things planned for the town so I can't see it going backwards in a hurry."
