Actually the price reached the $2.90 level and held there for quite some time. About 2:30pm there were two machine trades, one for 47 shares and one for 145 shares, then the price started to drop. Between then, and the end of the closing auction at 4:10 a total of 1,721,428 shares traded out of the total 3,943,556 traded for the day.
Considering there are just under 130 million shares on issue that means a total of 1.3% of the SOI traded during the panic selling session after 2:30pm. So one shake of the tree didn't get many jittery, it got holders of 1.3% of the shares jittery.
98.7% of us are still "in for the long term and looking at Partnership / take over with bobby dazzler numbers".
