It's a short to medium term issue for us that people aren't able to quickly realise that we're in Phase 2 human trials now in an application that would give us a value of a
few billion, our Melanoma result would be worth about $3b in annual revenue if we could get 5% of the currently untreatable market or that if we can get cardio protection to stick us into a combo therapy with doxorubicin then $3,000 a dose for 20 million doses a year is $60b a year in revenue. Outrageous but the numbers are real: doses are from data and the $/dose is from benchmarks.

So to come around to your first point, I don't know why someone doesn't stand in there and buy it all, either.

But what if it is a boring old fashion chemo drug that makes the use of the most widely used boring old fashioned chemo drugs safer for the heart.

Massive unmet need for improving quality of life of long term cancer sufferers / survivors.

Massive indirect impact for their families

Massive market opportunity for a big pharma that can be quickly realised through new backbone/front-line chemotherapy regimens/formulations

Compelling opportunity for RACE investors.

This potential means a great deal to me for all the reasons above and particularly 1 and 2. I hope the cardio protection capability is also eventually found to extend to immunotherapy and that perhaps the capability is cardio regenerative.
