I will only say this my friend in reference to the "terrain"of Papua New Guinea....
If you had the slightest knowledge of the PNG's Geomorphology you would have known that more than 90% of all the mining presently taking place in that country is done in hilly, mountainous regions.....
And this, in relation to the Kokoda Trail. Once again your (historical this time) ignorance shines......
The Problems Frontier is encountering with it's drilling\mining near the Kokoda Trail has nothing to do with the geomorhopological nature of its tenements. It's of GREAT historical value to Australia (and PNG) and I would humbly like to refer you to our second world war history and the fights to stop the invading Japanese from setting foot on Australian soil......
Cheers;))))
PS. You would have failed (I am afraid to say.....) mr. Howard's test for new migrants aspiring to acquiring Australian citizenship!
