Assumptions are that the US short term lending rate will rise from 4.25% currently to 5% sometime in 2018. My expectation is that Draghi will follow.
This means that local lending rates will rise by at least the same amount. There is however no guarantee that a .75% rise will be the end of it.
Other thoughts anyone?
