As someone who studies bank statements for a living I see 'non stop' people making their afterpay commitments. (I cant remember the last time someone didn't) and then dishonour on actual financial commitments. i.e loans.
Of all the BNPL groups I think that only deferit does credit checks.
Note: Used to hold AP. Had to sell it. Still think it's a good stock.
But dont tell me they promote good credit behaviour.
That might have been their intent. But I can tell you right now it's not what is happening.
