As a holder who bought in at Afterpays peak share price early this week, i am quite disheartened that the company is either declining to comment on these attacks or is simply stating 'let the market decide'. Retail sales down doesnt mean a drop in earnings...if anything it may warrant afterpays appeal as a backup plan for those more frequent occasions of needing to pay via installments. Christmas is coming and should help with sales. I think the company needs to do more to defend its credibility but in the interim im down almost 10k in a week..
If we keep going down at this rate....Afterpay may be $17.50 by cloae of business next Friday.
