The difference is with Afterpay - you walk out with the product instantly - no need to wait until the final payment. Instant gratification is what millennials want.
next step - visa announces that Afterpay will be possible anywhere that accepts visa... much like the in store application now. You just tap in your phone to get your bar code and away you go.
the cynic in me almost expects this announcement mid next week - allowing UBS to buy up big just prior.
