...Was Steve Noske totally incompetent?

The happenings with La Bella and Seychelles, if they'd been done when they were first mooted a few years ago, would have the share price at least 500% greater than it sits today. In fact, if they'd been done those few years ago, we'd probably have drilled both targets and the share price could be anywhere (even in the toilet!).

Obviously, DR can't make these targets successful, but the no-nonsense manner in which he's gone about getting these deals done (on better terms than, realistically, we all thought possible based on our backs being to the wall) has been a breath of fresh air.
